Periodontal Services: Sometimes gum diseases occur. These are serious as they can lead to loss of
teeth
and supporting bone and tissue structures. In addition, untreated or uncontrolled disease has
been
linked to increased risk factors in patients with heart disease and diabetes as
well as
expectant mothers. A variety of treatment options are available depending on the
severity of the disease. Often they can be done without referral to a
specialist.
However, certain levels of disease severity may require the
intervention of a specialist. We will diagnose your disease, provide information
on the
type of treatment needed and keep you informed of any changes. Treatment may
include the following:
Scaling and Root Planing (deep cleaning)
Laser therapy
Pocket Irrigation
Placement of localized antibiotics in deeper pockets
Gingivectomy (gum trimming)
Restorative Services: We realize that some times problems do occur that may require some treatment.
When
this occurs, our goal is to resolve the problem so that you are happy and
comfortable with
fully restored form and function.

Once
we have achieved this goal, we offer a variety of treatments to help you enhance

Sterilization: All of our instruments are washed after each patient.
Most are then heat
sterilized in an autoclave to ensure that all bacteria are killed. Those instruments
that can
not be heat sterilized are cold sterilized in Glutaraldehyde for 24 hours then
rinsed and
bagged for patient use.
We use barriers on chairs, lights, tubing and surfaces that are changed between
each
patient. Chairs, tubing, handles, counter tops and equipment is also wiped
and/or
sprayed with an antimicrobial solution between each patient and at the end of the day. We
pay
close attention to sterilization and protection standards set forth by OSHA so
that our
patients are protected and have their treatment in a safe and clean environment.

in the
office. We want your visit with us to be warm and friendly. We combine
traditional values with modern technology to make your stay a pleasant as
